Bisque Socket Head Armand Marsaille Doll

An Armand Marsaille, mould 390 2 1/2 M, bisque socket head doll with hand painted eyebrows, eyelashes, nostrils and lips. With her wig and glass eyes in addition to an open mouth with moulded teeth, this piece makes a great addition to any collection.

The composition jointed body has her standing at 20" tall and is adorned with her original clothing. This doll looks to have had her lower legs replaced as they do not match the age of the body. The hand painted face may have also been restored as it does not match the wear of the paint on the back of her head.

This is one of the more commonly found Armand Marsaille dolls and were made enmasse from 1915.
